Academic workshops
Workshops provide students with essential tools and strategies to enhance your academic success. During our interactive sessions, participants will engage in activities and discussions focused on key academic skills.
a typical workshop
Tutors will share practical tips and expert advice to help you excel academically. You’ll have the opportunity to practice these skills in a supportive and collaborative environment through exercises and group discussions. You’ll be provided valuable resources such as study guides, templates, and online tools to help in your learning journey. There’ll be lots of opportunities to ask and answer questions.
Attending a workshop
The workshops will be delivered on-campus and online at the same time (hybrid). You are not required to book onto these sessions; simply come in-person or join online. You are allowed to join up to 10 minutes into the session, arrivals later than this will not be admitted. Each workshop now has a preparation video that you need to watch before attending the workshop.
On-campus
Most of the teaching rooms have the capacity to accommodate 30 students. If there is no seat available in the classroom, you will be asked to join the session online. The workshop is offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
